CHIROPTERA COFFEE BREW

Chiroptera Coffee Brew is a brew that specializes in exotic coffee from Coffea Diversa Coffee Garden in the southern Brunca region of Costa Rica. Bats of the region chew off the exterior of coffee cherries that are native in the region, this starts a natural process that culminates with the brewing of the coffee.

Beans undergo a drying process that emphasizes the different flavors obtained during the overall natural process. Chiroptera Coffee Brew comes in three different presentations: “At Dawn”, “Before Dusk” and “After Midnight”


G. TOTI ROOFTOP BAR

G. Toti is a bar that will be located on the upper lever of the Andaluz Hotel in Albuquerque NM. The bar is scheduled to open later this year. The bar is named after the first person arrested for bootlegging in ABQ during the Prohibition era. During this time speakeasies, secret bars and clubs selling illicit alcohol, became a popular part of U.S. culture.

The brand identity design drew inspiration from Art Deco art and architecture which was the art of the era—featuring sharp edged, linear elements, and geometric forms. The logo displays an eye looking through a peephole. Speakeasies operated with the utmost discretion and secrecy, epitomized by a peephole in the door.


CRESCENT CITY RECORD CO.

Crescent City Record Company specializes in reissued and remastered recordings of classic jazz, blues and country. Due to new found interest in long-play vinyl records, Crescent City Record Company offers a wide selection of music genres with the warm sound qualities associated with traditional recording technologies.

The logo is reminiscent of old record label companies from the 1930s through the 1950s. Aesthetics of the packaging design presents each collection with a rustic look that pays homage to New Orleans art with an abstract touch for modern audiences.


SOL HOUSING

New brand identity designed for Sol Housing, formerly known as the Greater Albuquerque Housing Partnership (GAHP). The chosen design draws inspiration from terracotta sun decorations that can be found in homes all around the Southwest. Sol Housing specializes in the planning, design, construction and management of multi-family housing communities that are affordable. The task was to create a new name and design a new brand identity that would reflect the security of home ownership while symbolizing the warm and welcoming culture of the Southwest.


CROWN CONDOMS (REDESIGN)

Executed as a redesign exercise of the Okamoto Crown Condoms brand, Crown Condoms new design offers a more sophisticated look while keeping its appealing and approachable brand to the general public. The packaging design comes in three presentations to accommodate the different type of condom.

  


BROKEN SECOND HAND STORIES

Broken is a shoe store that sells high quality second hand boots. The concept behind their store is that boots are quite expensive when purchased new and quite uncomfortable as well. They offer their costumers second hand boots of brands such as Danner, Red Wing, Chippewa, Wolverine and many others, making sure that all their boots are in great condition and have gone through a rigorous cleaning process, and also replace shoelaces and the insoles with brand new ones.

The company’s identity design shows a snake which was taken as a symbol of regeneration for its ability to perform ecdysis, the process of shedding it skin.
